Bill has been following Jesus since He rescued him in 1978 (forty-six years ago) and because he was so thankful, Bill started telling everyone about Him. Bill was working in the Heating and Cooling trade and volunteering with a local jail ministry, but his dream was to serve in full-time ministry. In 1986, the JJM director was leaving Youth for Christ and a YFC Board member asked him to pray about taking the position. The Lord said “yes" and the rest is history. Bill is passionate about this ministry because he knows God's beauty and glory, how blessed he is to know Him, and he wants others to know Him too. Bill is so thankful that God rescued him from a lost and empty life and longs for teens to experience this same blessing and rescue. Through the years he has seen many young people rescued and set free; that is what keeps him going. Bill has been married to the woman of his dreams, Cheryl, for forty-two years.
