Jason grew up in the church as a pastor's kid but when he joined the Coast Guard shortly after his first year of College, he drifted away from the faith. In 2007, right before the birth of his son, he gave his life back to Christ. Jason’s journey with Youth for Christ started with his children, Logan and Faith, as they volunteered in the kitchen during Covid, at the opening of the new Eastside City Life Center. During this time, he was praying for a new career. After a year of volunteering, Jason was approached about managing a Thrift Store that was being donated to YFC. With his background in Search & Rescue, Law Enforcement, and Military Training, he wasn't sure this was in his wheelhouse, but through prayer, God made it very clear that this was where he was supposed to serve. Shortly after, his wife Lisa left her healthcare career and joined him on staff; they haven't looked back.
