Malinda was blessed to grow up in a Christian home where faith was woven into everyday life. Experiences at Christian camps and mission trips played a big role in shaping a lasting relationship with Jesus. After college, Malinda spent the last 8 years working in youth ministry across Illinois, Colorado, and overseas- those years shaped her heart for youth in big ways. She developed a deep passion for walking with teens as they explore and grow in their faith. After learning about Youth for Christ through a friend, Malinda felt called to its unique holistic and relational mission of meeting teens right where they are. Believing that teens are not just the future of the church but a vital part of it right now, she's excited to partner with caring adults, local ministries, and the wider community to empower and disciple the next generation of Jesus-followers.
