Director of Mission Advancement
If I could have any superpower, it would be?
"I would like to be able to fly. Talk about getting a different perspective. The best part would be that I would never have to go through airport security again!"
How long have you been working at YFC?
"I started in 2017, BUT this is not my first rodeo. When I graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 1987, my first ministry job was with Toledo Youth For Christ. I worked for 4 years before starting my career as a pastor."
What inspires you most about your role at YFC?
"Without a doubt, the number one thing that inspires me is hearing stories weekly of young lives that are changing. I came to Jesus when I was only 17 and I know the changes that I experienced at that young age. I love that we are developing life-long followers of Christ."
My favorite thing to do when I was a kid was:
"Do I have to pick just one?! I loved performing magic tricks (mostly for family), hanging out with my friends in the neighborhood all day long until the streetlight came on, and I loved riding my unicycle. I learned to juggle, too, but could not do so while riding my unicycle."
The best advice I ever got was:
"My Youth For Christ Director encouraged me to consider going to college to prepare for vocational ministry. I honestly never saw myself going anywhere past high school. I am so thankful that he got me to think about furthering my education."
