For the past thirty-two years, Steve has been in youth ministry and he just celebrated his twentieth year with Youth For Christ. Steve was working at Comstock schools, for the YMCA, running a snow plowing business, flipping houses, doing whatever it took to feed his family, and coming alongside hurting and lost people. One of his pastors said to him, “You’re buying old houses; gutting them, and cleaning them up, but you should be doing that with teens and helping them be transformed!!” His next pastor, who was on the board of YFC, got him an interview and he joined the team. Steve has seen the destruction that comes when a child does not have safe, caring adults in their lives. Now he gets to find healthy, trustworthy, Christ followers to walk alongside lonely, wounded children and see the transformation happen! Contact Steve at [email protected].
