Susan knew and accepted Jesus at a young age but didn't start following Him wholeheartedly until later in her adult life. She spent most of her life finding value in the world, not in God, which left her empty, tired and lonely. When Susan attended her first Valley Girls Social Women's Event at Valley Family Church a few years ago, it opened her eyes to how God viewed her and she experienced His peace, love and confidence. while surrounded by hundreds of other women. She has been on fire for God ever since! Susan started serving in her church but she desired more, knowing she had a purpose and needed to share all the good God had been doing in her life with others. Susan was introduced to YFC and visited a chapel service at Michigan Youth Challenge Academy in Augusta. Once she entered that service, she could feel God's presence among the cadets and knew she was exactly where God intended her to be. There's no looking back now! Susan loves being able to share the freedom found through following Jesus.
